PPD Ministries is a community-focused ministry that aims to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ by outreach programmes in the community, regardless of culture, race, gender or social status. It provides service for the following areas which is sustained and functions by members’ contributions and donations.
We support the following services:
1                 Men’s ministry – helping men to find their purpose and live a peaceful life.
2                 Women’s ministry – supporting and helping women to develop to their full potential and to be the best they can for the Lord, the family and the community.
3                 Children and young people’s ministry – by mentoring and helping them to find direction/staying on track
Being a community-focussed ministry, our vision is that we aim to cross barriers, build bridges and bring hope, healing and salvation to all, according to St Luke 4:18: “To set at liberty all that are bruised. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor.  He hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.”
We worship in a vibrant and uplifting way, giving adoration to rise up people to praise the Lord. We believe that prayer and intercession is made by standing in the gap for others so as to bring deliverance through the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.
By demonstrating the love of God in sharing, listening, supporting in a Christian manner. Expressing the joy of the Lord in vibrant ways through praise and worship.
In our daily living we demonstrate the love of God in our lifestyle at home, at work, in the community and in the community of faith.
We meet for worship and community outreach at our normal place of worship, Uppingham Road Methodist Church, Leicester LE3 8XX? You are welcome to join us inour Sunday afternoon worship and midweek community services.
